City Model Schools
Nursery/Primary School
In order to satisfy the need of the Muslim community, Al-Usrah has established a
Nursery/Primary School with the sole objective of giving to our children good quality
and properly blended education, for their healthy growth as Muslims.
City Model College
In early 2003, we embarked on a college project to meets the yearnings and aspirations
of Muslims in Nigeria. We are happy to inform you that:
The College commenced academic works in September 2003 in apartments rented for
2 years from Al-Usrah Incorporated.
Currently, there are 7 tutors teaching 16 pioneer JSS1 students in well-furnished
classrooms. The school’s Computer, Introductory Technology and Home Economics laboratories
are functional while the school library has been stocked with over 700 books on
different subjects.
Special teaching/coaching efforts in the school have started yielding results
as the College came second in the French Language competition organised by Alliance
Francaise for secondary schools in Port Harcourt in March 2004.
Some parents/professionals have delivered career talks within the just concluded
term.
They expressed satisfaction at the level of academic interaction and progress
exhibited by the students.
Construction activity began on the 32-classroom permanent college building in
February, 2004 and 10% completion has been achieved to date. Work is still ongoing.
The flourishing Nursery/Primary section of City Model Group of Schools, which
you also supported, has recorded enviable achievement since inception 4 years ago.
It is our belief that with your support, the College shall become a thing to be
proud of in the next four years, Insha Allah.
Hence, we implore you to help invite
your friends to invest in this College project.
Some parents/guardians who have paid visits to the college expressed satisfaction
at the Islamic upbringing of the students. We encourage you to pay a visit if you
have not already done so. Your ideas and observations for further improvement during
your visit will be most welcome.
We thank Allah for these achievements and we thank you for your support as an individual
investor or as an investor through Al-Usrah Inc.
However, we implore you not to
rest on your oars. We pray that Allah will continue to reward you as you endeavour
to complete the payment of the amount you pledged to invest.
